Description
Your house deserves the best!
Our Ancient Galala Limestone Kit Kat tiles are a beautiful and durable natural stone that brings real texture and depth to any wall in your house!
Application: The slim baton format is made for vertical work – kitchen splashbacks, bathroom and powder room feature walls, fireplace surrounds, entry and hallway walls, and behind baths and vanities. The brushed and tumbled finish softens the face and edges, so the wall reads warm and handmade rather than sharp and machined.
Resistance: One of the many limestone benefits is its strength and durability. It is among the most resilient of all-natural stones thanks to its density.
It's "COOL": Another benefit of limestone used in construction is that it absorbs heat, preventing that warmth from spreading inside. This makes it a natural way to keep a building cool and is one of the many reasons limestone has been used in hot areas for centuries.
Our limestone tiles and pavers are available in a range of colours and finishes, including Galala, Melly Brown, and Sinai Grey, so you can carry the same stone from a feature wall through to floors, pavers and coping.
PLEASE NOTE: This natural stone product IS POROUS and as such should be properly sealed. Individual tiles will differ slightly from pictured products.
We recommend using Sealer’s Choice® Gold Rapid Cure by Aqua Mix® to properly seal our range of limestone tiles.

Care & Installation
Limestone is a calcareous stone, which means it reacts to acid. Lemon, vinegar, wine, most bathroom and toilet cleaners, and any acidic product will etch the surface permanently, even where the stone has been sealed. Sealing makes the stone more resistant to staining, it does not stop etching and it does not make the stone stain-proof.
Clean with a neutral pH stone cleaner, warm water and a soft cloth or mild dishwashing detergent, then rinse and dry. Avoid scouring powders and any abrasive cleaner, and never mix ammonia and bleach; used together they create a toxic gas.
Reseal when water stops beading on the surface rather than to a fixed schedule. Wet areas need to be waterproofed to AS 3740 before tiling.
Seal kit kat batons before grouting. The format has far more grout line per square metre than a standard tile, and sealing first keeps grout out of the open face of the stone.
