Care & Installation
Glazed porcelain doesn't need sealing. Unglazed, polished or honed porcelain can develop micro-pores during polishing that hold stains, so check with us whether your specific tile needs sealing. Porcelain is far more chemically tolerant than natural stone, but keep acidic cleaners off the grout joints.
Porcelain needs a flexible, high-polymer adhesive, and back-buttering is recommended for tiles over 300 x 300 mm and for 20 mm outdoor pavers, to avoid voids under the tile. Outdoor floors need full adhesive coverage with no edge voids.
